I have some photos and a little write-up about Rose City Fix in the new Urban Velo. I'm excited, as you could imagine. Even though it's rad to have my photos in this magazine, I'm just as stoked to see good friends of mine and Portland represented. You can download a copy for free here. Urban Velo has been so rad to work with. Can't thank them enough.

Also, here is my bike, in all it's glory.

This weekend Aaron's new band, Brothers of the Sonic Cloth, played their first show with Aaron on drums at Ash Street in Portland with Yob and Iommi Stubbs. They were great: long and slow songs with heavy riffs. As my friend Tom put it "this is perfect music for dirty people to nod their heads to." Someone needs to sign them and put out a record as soon as possible. This band should be huge.
This was a great weekend seeing old friends, meeting new ones, and having my ear drums blown out by music so loud it's actually kind of silly.

Aaron and I have decided to re-release the Rain City Fix book in full color. Last night I started working on re-editing the photos from last January's shoot in Seattle. Keep on the look out.

If you’re ever in Portland, there is a good chance you’ll see Sharky riding his 3rensho. This bike is awesome. I love the chrome shining through the chipped paint. I guess the only thing better than a rad bike is a rad bike that’s being used to it’s full potential.

Tuesday morning playlist:
The Distortions - Machines at Night
Doves - The Last Broadcast

A 30 second look at the sea.
I shot these over a year ago. A friend and I were driving south on hwy 101. We stopped at a viewpoint just before Manzanita to take some photos of the moon over the ocean. It was late at night but the moon was bright and we decided to hike down the hill to the cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean. After making our way through the brush and the darkness we came to the end of the west cost and we sat for hours watching clouds fly past the moon while listening to the waves crash against the rocks 100 feet below us. As far as I could tell nothing else existed.
