VIVASALO is no more.


From now on my blog will be hosted on my website at www.brentonsalo.com/blog. I've been posting photos on vivasalo since the end of 2006 and it seems strange to be moving on but i'm stoked on my new website. I'm going to leave this blog up as sort of an archive of the last few years. Thanks for visiting.

Last night after work Jerry, Drew, and myself spent a few hours at Crema hanging all the pieces for my show. After a few hours of arranging and re-arranging the room over and over we were finished and headed out for vegan corndogs and PBRs at the Hungry Tiger, Too. I'm super stoked on how everything looks and even more stoked that i can stop stresssing out now that it's all up.

Yesterday, after a long day at work, Blake and Ryan met up at my place for a ride. We didn't have a plan of where to go so we just headed west across the river into northwest Portland. We eventually hit highway 30 and continued to pedal on until we got to the St. Johns Bridge where we stopped for a short break then headed across the bridge and rode through north Portland back to southeast. The ride was about 30 miles and lasted a couple hours. We celebrated our conquest with cheap tacos and Mexican beer late into the warm Portland night.
